The 3Gaps Speech

We are teaching individuals and organizations how to close three primary gaps in their lives. Hyrum Smith and Richard Godfrey and a group of industry veterans who’ve spent decades speaking to individuals and organizations on these topics are teaching these principles in a 90-minute speech.

The Values Gap – learning how to do the things you value – that are central or core to who you are and what you want to accomplish in life.

The Beliefs Gap – we all, individuals and organizations, need to pay more attention to the effect our beliefs are having on the results we’re getting. If we are failing to get the results we need we need to understand there’s a gap between what we believe and what we need. Closing that gap – between what we currently believe and what reality demands we believe is essential to our success.

The Productivity Gap – time, the events that make up our day and the effort we make to plan for that time’s best use each day directly impacts our productivity. Too many people and organizations are busy without being productive because there is a gap between what they’re goals and aspirations are and how they’re investing their time.

3Step Action Plan – for each gap there is a 3 step action plan that participants begin working on during the speech, that is time tested and proven after nearly 4 decades of testing to close the gaps those actions address.

What Changes when we close the Gaps

  • Chaos is kept at bay
  • Organizations will develop a cohesive sense of mission, focusing more of their talents on critical issues and opportunities
  • Inner peace increases
  • We start living our values
  • We deal with reality, things as they are not as we believe them to be
  • We become more productive

The Journey from Outer Chaos to Inner Peace

The speech focuses on a simple, memorable and practical approach to closing the 3 Gaps. Participants learn an approach we call 1-3-3-1 which focuses on:

  1. Challenge – living successfully in a chaotic world
  2. Gaps – values, beliefs and productivity gaps that when closed create sustainable environments where life has purpose, life makes sense and life works out.
  3. Actions – for each gap there is a 3 step action plan that participants begin working on during the speech, that is time tested and proven after nearly 4 decades of testing to close the gaps those actions address.
  4. Promise – in a world of chaos finding “inner peace” – a feeling of serenity, balance, harmony and purpose” becomes a powerful motivator. When we close the three gaps, using the 3 actions outlined, this promise becomes immediately real – to individuals and organizations.
